Seminar Description:
|
Rational principles of technical sciences applied to project management brought so far rather mediocre results: only one third of all endeavours finish successfully. Only recently and still with a considerable dose of scepticism few risked a glance at the role of the project manager himself and at his team. An impact of human factor on project fate is meanwhile unquestionable: up to 85% of professionals *) view it as the most important key success factor. Motivation has tremendous impact on performance – up to tenfold.
Knowledge makes one an expert, empathy – sometimes good manager, but to lead a project one has to cope efficiently with a perpetual uncertainty – and that calls for a leader.
The 180 minutes lecture with interactions and exercises by participants offers a compact and comprehensive review of all project management processes, dedicated to human factor.
Participants are empowered to balance correctly between the needs of individual processes and take an appropriate action in face of numerous project risks and challenges. The unique research results on motivating factors conducted by tutor among Swiss project managers open an opportunity for participants to review the instruments applied in their own business environment.
